How long does it take to set-up the Pillar Bookshelf Shelves?

Assembly of the Pillar Bookshelf Shelves is simple and takes only a few minutes, no tools are required.

What is the difference between the Base Shelf and the Stacking Shelf?

The Base Shelf should only be used on the floor, whether alone or as a foundational module. If you’d like to stack vertically, you should use the Stacking Shelf. When removed from packaging, you’ll see base shelves are labeled with a black sheet, and stacking shelves are labeled with a white sheet.

How do I stack the Pillar Bookshelf Shelves?

You can utilize the Stacking Shelf on top of the Base Shelf for additional storage and height. Base shelves are labeled with a black sheet, while stacking shelves are labeled with a white sheet. To assemble, lift the base unit by the handles with a friend and place in the desired location. Depending on your chosen configuration, nest a stacking shelf on top of your base unit. Use the long screw to secure the units together. Tighten by hand. Do not stack higher vertically than 47", as this can cause units to topple over if pulled on. Anti-tipping hardware is included to prevent the risk of injury due to furniture tipping over.

Each shelf has a weight limit of 130 lbs. For extra stability, we recommend placing heavier items on the bottom shelves.
